Achievements:
Nero is loved and owned by Angelique and Murray Aamodt who has begun training Nero for competitive obedience. We look forward to their successes in the future.
Nero wins a 4th in Novice! We were so proud of Nero to win a placing in a Championship Obedience test - scoring a 99 out of 100! We are sure this will be the first of many wins for Angelique and Nero!
Nero has now moved out of the Novice class after two outstanding performances saw him win two 1st Placings. We wish Nero and Angelique the very best of luck in Test A.
In his first outing in Test A he completed some very precise heelwork only loosing .5 pt on lead and no pts off lead, had a good retrieve and recall but unfortunately missed scent altogether. I'm sure it wont be long before they are back in the placings!
Nero once he got the hang of things finished Test A in quick time and moved onto Test B, after picking up some placings he won the required 4 1st placings in 3 weekends. We are incredibly proud of Angelique and Nero and they will be now taking some time out to train for Test C. We are confident that Nero is an Ob Ch in the making with Angelique's expert handling.
Nero being Nero, likes to give his handler Angelique a hard time but last weekend he picked up his all important 1st place CC win on Saturday 1 October 2011 at the North Taranaki Dog Training Club Championship Shows. He now only needs 2 placings on Challenge points and he will be an Obedience Champion! We wish them all the best of luck!
