Achievements:
Comet was our first homebred boy and very special to us. He had many of the qualities given to him by his father Kyle of Mistylaw. Comet was sparingly shown and although he would never have made a great impact in the show ring, he was always a champion to us. He was reknowned as a bit of a pick pocket and loved nothing more than meeting you at the door with something in his mouth - usually the lounge cushions. He is very much missed by us all here at Mistymoor. Comet had multiple In Specialty Show wins including the following:
2002 CGRC Limit In Show
Judge: Mrs Barbara Mills (UK)
Cook's Mistymoor Amber Comet.
Dark Golden of lovely type, with a typical melting expression. Short coupled with lovely balanced angulation throughout, another where more trimming around the neck would enhance his outline. Good width of second thigh and short neat hocks. Lovely head and tail carriage and another who is very happy on the move. In full gleaming coat and super hard condition.
2000 CGRC Minor Puppy In Show
Judge: Mr John Clark (UK)
Cook's Mistymoor Amber Comet.
Stood alone but very worthy of first placing.Well featured head with good dark points and very kindly expression. Positive front, good bone and feet, well laid shoulders and good length to upper arm. Good development in body and angulation to hindquarters. In rich gold coat and of a happy disposition. Maturity should bring the overall balance and finish to his sound features of conformation.
